The dedications of the Hackney Well Dressings took place on Saturday 13th August 2011. There are five Well Dressings this year along the length of Holt Road, including one made by local children. Once again, the donations made by the public will be given to the Matlock Hospitals League of Friends.
Please try to take a look in the coming week and support the hard work of the Hackney residents. Our picture shows Lawrence Paing, one of the organisers of the Well Dressings and Pam Wildgoose, Secretary of the League.

Patrick McLoughlin MP has agreed to stand shoulder to shoulder with his Buxton counterpart supporting Corbar and will support the campaign to keep Darley Birth Centre open. However, the support of the local GPs is a key factor in success.
Look out for a lot more information in the Matlock Mercury this week.
