Councillors are due to discuss the potential closure of Darley Birth Centre at their meeting at Matlock Town Hall tonight (22.06.2011). We hope that they will look at the situation sympathetically and make their feelings known to the Primary Care Trust in Chesterfield. A short presentation will be made by MHLOF members.

Supporters and League members were photographed by The Matlock Mercury on Tuesday 31st May 2011 in support of a report due to appear in the newspaper the same week. Many of the babies and children were born at Darley and as shown within Facebook, all parents were positive about their experiences there.
